Bring the Gospel to every Deaf person
Deaf people are among the least reached people groups in the world. We create high-impact visual media in sign language so Deaf people can see and know Jesus in their heart language.

Why reach Deaf people?
Deaf people are among the least reached people groups in the world — an estimated 70 million people worldwide.
For many, sign language is their first and heart language — the clearest way to understand the Gospel.

The first feature film fully in ASL
In 2024, Deaf Missions released JESUS: a Deaf Missions film, the first feature film created fully in American Sign Language, for Deaf by Deaf, released in a limited theatrical run in nearly 300 theaters.
And it does not stop there. Our vision is to bring this film to Deaf communities worldwide in their heart sign languages.

Your monthly gift will:
- Share the Gospel through JESUS: a Deaf Missions film in 100+ sign languages
JESUS: a Deaf Missions film
Sign language is not universal. The film was made in American Sign Language, so Deaf Missions works with Deaf signers in each country to create versions in their own sign language — the goal is 100+ sign languages by 2030. At one showing in Indian Sign Language, 300 people came and 225 decided to follow Jesus.

The ASL Bible
Completed in 2020, the ASLV (American Sign Language Version) is the first full Bible in any sign language. Your gift funds its ongoing revision and the free ASL Bible app, which puts every book on a phone or tablet for personal study and small-group discipleship. A new version of the app arrives December 1, 2026.

Our next film: The Prodigal
Inspired by the parable of the Prodigal Son, The Prodigal is a modern-day story about wandering, grace and restoration, told in sign language. Phase one — story and script development — is underway, with a goal of $120,000 to shape the story and assemble the creative team.
