Jo Krueger

Executive Ass't./Editor

Hi everyone! I joined the Deaf Missions staff in 1998. I was born and raised in Iowa and graduated from Nebraska Christian College in 1974 with a B.A. in music. From 1974 to 1980, I was involved in establishing a deaf ministry at the Morningside Church of Christ in Sioux City, Iowa. Then in 1980 I moved to Rochester, New York to start a deaf church. When I returned to Iowa, I began working as the receptionist here at Deaf Missions. I am now Chad Entinger's Executive Assistant as well as the editor of Daily Devotions for the Deaf. (If you are interested in writing devotions for our publication, please contact me!)

My main jobs at Deaf Missions are processing donations and writing, editing and organizing devotions. I also help write correspondence lessons, teach a class for our Extension Class Program, lead tours of Deaf Missions and help coordinate Bible Camp for the Deaf.

I have two grown children, Jeremy and Rachel. My husband, Hank, and I live on a small acreage about 35 miles from Deaf Missions. We have 4 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 Blue-headed Conures. I enjoy playing the piano, cooking and doing crossword puzzles.
