Can I freely share this information?

More specifically, can you share this information without expressly directing someone to these web pages?

Yes. The information presented here is factual data that could be obtained by anyone willing to put forth the effort*, so, of course, it is not copyrighted. However, the web pages themselves ARE protected by copyright law. Permission is granted for anyone who wishes to print and share these pages free of charge to do so, as long as all source information remains intact.

It is important to note that if you intend to include any of this information in a published material, simple ethics and common courtesy dictate that you cite the source of this information (for example, the URL for the main information page, or even just saying it is from a study published by Deaf Missions). Primarily, this is because you didn't go to the trouble to acquire the data yourself, and secondly, in case any of this information includes errors and someone calls you to task for it, you're off the hook because you can blame me.

*As noted on another page, this information is the result of about 16 hours total of study and work, basically amounting to a lot of counting and math and double-checking of figures. Thus, I essentially arrived at these results on my own. These numbers may differ from other similar studies, due either to errors on my part or on the part of the publisher of said alternative tallies, or because of technical differences in procedure or source material used to obtain the data.
