Deaf Devo: 365 Days a Year

For almost twenty years now, I have had the privilege of being the editor of Deaf Devo (formerly called Daily Devotions for the Deaf).  Deaf Missions began publishing a simple-English devotion book in 1980.  Since then it has gone from a monthly book to a three-month book and now a four-month book.  A large print edition was added in 1981.  Through the years, the printed devotion book has been an integral part of Deaf Missions’ goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Deaf people.  More than 10,000 copies of the printed book are now distributed to almost 100 countries around the world.  The devotion book is also available in Braille, and several foreign countries translate the book into their own language or sign language.

As technology advanced, Deaf Missions began producing devotion videos in American Sign Language, the native, heart language of Deaf people in the United States.  Then these signed devotions were added to the Deaf Missions website.  You can watch these devotions online (deafmissions.com/deafdevo), or you can request that the English devotions be e-mailed to you each day (deafmissions.com/e-devo).  The devotions are also available as an app for smartphones and mobile devices (DeafDevo.com).

Deaf Devo gives Deaf people around the world the opportunity to learn from God’s Word and apply it to their lives — 365 days a year!  Please ask God to continue using Deaf Devo to inspire and encourage Deaf people who want to know more about Jesus.
