1 Thessalonians (3)

As Christians, we have God’s message in our hearts. We should not let things in the world discourage us. We should keep our focus on God and His Word.
Paul was very proud of the church in Thessalonica. He told them in verses 19 and 20, “You are our hope, our joy, and the crown we will be proud of when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. You bring us honor and joy.” These Christians were suffering bad things because of the Jews who didn’t believe. But still, the Thessalonians remained strong in their faith.
The Christians in Thessalonica were strong because they had accepted God’s message. They had made God’s teaching part of their lives and allowed this teaching to help them every day.
God’s message is working in our lives today, too. Be sure to not let men’s ideas keep you from accepting the truth from God. Stay close to God and His Word, the Bible.
