A True Christian

I was born into a Christian family. My parents have been Christians for many years. They taught me about Jesus when I was very young. When I was growing up, my family went to church every Sunday. We prayed together and went to a weekly Bible study.
But these things did not make me a Christian. I needed to make my own decision to follow Jesus. I needed to have a personal relationship with Him. So one day, during a special church revival, I gave my life to Jesus. I became a true Christian.
Our Bible Reading today tells us that when we are a true Christian, nothing can separate us from God?s love. No problems or hunger or danger can keep us away from God?s great love. When we have God?s love, we have victory over sin.
I hope that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior. If you are a parent, I hope you teach your children how to love and follow Jesus, too.
