Agree with Each Other

In our Bible Reading today, Paul talks about a problem in the church at Corinth. Some Christians were arguing about who had baptized them!
Those people who were baptized by Paul followed him. People that Peter had baptized followed Peter. Other people said that they just followed Christ. This problem divided the Corinthian church into small groups. In verse 13 Paul says, “Christ cannot be divided into different groups.”
Sometimes we do the same thing today. Some people follow a famous preacher on TV. Others follow the pastor in their local congregation. But we should all be following only Christ. “It is God who has made you part of Christ Jesus…Christ is the one who set us free from sin” (1 Corinthians 1:30).
Make sure that you are only worshiping and following Christ. And be humble and at peace with other Christians.
