For our last devotion about Bible brothers, I would like to talk about brothers and sisters in Christ. When we become Christians, God makes us part of His family. All Christians are spiritual brothers and sisters.
When Paul wrote a letter to a church, he often called the people his brothers and sisters. Paul wrote the book of Philippians to Christians in the city of Philippi. When Paul called these people his brothers and sisters, he showed that he loved them and was concerned about their salvation.
In these verses, Paul talked about some Christians who were not getting along well. He encouraged the church to help them. Paul also told them to be filled with joy, to be gentle and kind and to “think about what is good and worthy of praise” (verse 8b).
If we follow Paul’s advice, we will have true fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
