Bible Brothers (4)

Joseph and his brothers did not always get along. Today we will talk about Moses and his brother, Aaron. They didn’t always get along either, but our Bible verses today tell us that Moses and Aaron worked together to serve God.

God called Moses to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Then Moses told God, “I am still not a good speaker. You know that I speak slowly and don’t use the best words” (verse 10b). So God told Moses that He would be with him and help him. But Moses still asked God to send someone else.

Finally, God told Moses that he would have his brother, Aaron, speak for him. God said, “I will tell you what to say. Then you will tell Aaron, and I will help him say it well. I will tell both of you what to do” (verse 15).

Aaron helped Moses speak to the Israelites and to the Egyptian king. They worked together to serve God. I hope you will work with your family members to honor God!
