Candy Cane (5)

Yesterday we talked about the red stripes of the candy cane. Today we will talk about the white stripes. The white stripes on the candy cane represent purity and cleanness.
All people sin. We all do wrong things. But if we accept Jesus as our Savior, God will forgive our sins. He will make our hearts pure and clean. Jesus is the only way to have our sins removed. Verse 22 of our Bible Reading tells us, “The law says that almost everything must be made clean by blood. And sins cannot be forgiven without blood (death).”
If we truly believe that Jesus’ blood forgives our sins and makes us clean, we should obey God’s command in
1 John 1:9. “But if we confess (admit) our sins, then God will forgive our sins. We can trust God to do this. God does what is right, God will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.”
When you see a candy cane, thank God for making you clean!
