Christian Unity

There is much diversity in our world today — different races, different cultures and different ways of living.
These differences are good, but sometimes they are barriers to our unity as brothers and sisters in Christ. Often we see problems come up in churches because people cannot agree on who should be the leaders in the church or what color the carpet should be in the church building.
In our Bible verses, Paul reminds us that we should be united. He says that there is “one body and one Spirit…one Lord, one faith, and one baptism” (verses 4-5). There should be no division in God’s kingdom. We should be in unity with one another.
Paul tells us that we should forget our differences and be humble, gentle and patient, and “accept each other with love” (verse 2). I hope you will do that and live in unity with other Christians.
