Colossians (2)

I went to visit Disneyland with my sister and her friends. I paid the price to spend one day there. My sister and her friends used their year-round passes.
Because I had paid a lot of money to get into Disneyland, I wanted to enjoy as many rides as I could. So I was busy all day riding the different rides. By the end of the day, I was very tired. But my sister and her friends rode only a few rides. Most of the day they sat and talked and enjoyed each other.
Sometimes my life is like the day I spent at Disneyland. I get so busy doing things and going places. Then at the end of the day, I am tired. And I realize that I never spent any time with God.
In our Bible Reading, Paul said that before we became Christians, we were God’s enemies. But now “Christ has made you God’s friends again. Christ did this by his death” (verse 22a). If God is my friend, I should want to spend time talking to Him each day and reading His Word.
I hope you will choose to spend time with God today.
