I am a hearing person. I use my mouth and tongue to communicate. If you are deaf, you probably communicate with your hands. It does not matter if we use our hands or our mouths. But it is very important that we have good communication.
The Bible tells us how we should communicate with each other. Our Bible Reading today teaches us four things about our communication: 1) We should be more willing to listen than to speak. 2) We should not become angry easily. 3) We should be humble. 4) We should accept God’s teaching.
God wants us to only have good communication. James 3:9-10 says, “We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father (God), but then we curse (say bad things to) people. And God made those people like himself. Those praises and curses come from the same mouth! My brothers and sisters, this should not happen.”
God wants you to have good communication today. He wants you to share the Good News about Jesus with people that you meet.
