Decisions (2)

After my husband’s death, I had bills to pay, people to contact and decisions to make. Many things in my life were uncertain. All of these things seemed like a huge mountain to me.
Then one day I was reading from Ezekiel. In verse 9a, God said to Israel, “I am with you. I will help you.” These words helped me remember that God was with me, too. I started praying more about my “mountain” of decisions and uncertainties.
I felt overwhelmed by all the things that were happening in my life. So I decided to take care of each problem, one at a time. When I had to make a decision, I prayed about it and waited for God to show me what I should do. I was amazed! My mountain became smaller and smaller.
God knew what was best for His people, the Israelites. And He knew what was best for me, too. Are you facing problems and decisions today? Turn to God. Ask Him to help and guide you.
