Don’t Worry

My parents gave me a card. Verses 6 and 7 of Philippians chapter 4 were written on the card. “Don’t worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. That peace which God gives is so great that we cannot understand it.”
One day I went skiing. As I was skiing down the mountain, I looked down the steep hill. I realized that the hill was very high. I became discouraged and lost my balance. Finally I had to stop.
I decided to try skiing down the hill again. But this time I focused on what I was doing. I tried not to focus on the height of the hill. Instead I just thought about going down the hill one step at a time.
When we have a job to do, we should not worry about it. We should pray about it. Then we should let God help us do the job, one step at a time.
Trust God today to help you do great things for Him.
