Don’t Worry

My friend, Colleen, and her husband bought a piece of land and a pre-built house. When they prepared the ground for the house, everything seemed to go wrong. Colleen was so worried about the things that were happening that she didn’t sleep well at night.
One day a man came to see Colleen and her husband. The man worked for the company who had built the house. He said, “I don’t want you worrying about this and losing sleep. Let me take care of it.”
Those are the words that God says to us about our problems and worries. In verse 6a of our Bible Reading today, Paul reminds us, “Don’t worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need.”
God knows that we need His strength to help us overcome our frustrations and worries. Turn to Him today and let Him “take care of it.”
