Early Church (1)

Sometimes deaf Christians ask me, “How can I live like Jesus?” I often tell them to study the early church in Jerusalem. (“Early church” means the group of people who became Christians soon after Jesus died.) I tell these Christians to do the same things the early church did.
Today and for the next four days, we will learn about the early church in Jerusalem. Our Bible Reading shows us what the early church was like.
Acts 2:42a says, “The believers continued to meet together.” Acts 2:44a says, “All the believers stayed together.” Acts 2:46a says, “The believers met together in the temple yard every day.” Christians in the early church met every day! They stayed together. They were devoted to each other.
We can follow the example of the early church. We need to meet together often with other Christians. We need to go to church every Sunday. We need to be involved in Bible studies. We need to be devoted to each other.
I hope that you will be like these early Christians in Jerusalem.
