Exodus (2)

One Israelite baby boy that was born in Egypt was Moses. Moses’ mother wanted to protect him. So she hid him for three months.

Our Bible verses tell us that Moses’ mother “hid him as long as she could. After three months she made a basket and covered it with tar so that it would float. Then she put the baby in the river in the tall grass” (verse 3). Moses’ sister watched the basket until it was taken out of the water by the king’s daughter. Moses grew up in the king’s house. Later, God used Moses to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. That was God’s plan for His people.

God loves us, and He gives us His protection and blessings every day. He does this through His Word, the Bible, and through the encouragement of other Christians. When we face bad times, we do not need to be upset. God will take care of us and show us His plan for our lives. Thank God for His love and protection!
