Gentleness

My dad used to say that some people were like a “bull in a china shop.” Can you imagine a big bull in a shop filled with china dishes, stomping around and breaking all the china?
My dad was talking about people who are loud and rude and unkind. The opposite of these people are people who are gentle. Gentle people are kind and loving. They are careful not to hurt other people.
Sometimes we say/sign things and hurt someone’s feelings. When we talk or sign to people, we need to be gentle. We need to remember that God made every person to be special. We should respect other people and treat them with gentleness.
Will you be gentle with your family and friends? Will you be gentle with your co-workers or the people you see in the grocery store? Show gentleness to every person you meet today.
