God’s Love

College students are excited to pack their bags and boxes and leave home to begin a new life at college. It is an exciting new adventure. However, as times goes on and the excitement wears off, these students may become homesick. They think about their families and miss all the things that they did together. But these college students know that their families still love them, even though they may be many miles apart.

It is the same with God. We cannot see Him, but we know that He loves us and is always with us. Paul wrote about God’s love in Romans 8:38-39. “Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love — not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us — nothing in the whole created world — will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Wow! Those are wonderful verses to remember! When we become overwhelmed with our problems, fears and temptations, we can know for sure that God loves us.

Praise God! His love for you will never stop.
