Hearing (5)

In the book of Revelation, Jesus spoke to seven churches. Each time He gave a message for a church, He ended each message with these words: “Every person that hears these things should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 3:13).
How can we listen “to what the Spirit says to the churches”? When we have a close relationship with God, we are able to pay attention to what He says. Maybe a preacher tells us to stop doing what is wrong, but we choose to forget the preacher’s words. We have listened to the words, but we do not want to repent. If we are truly following God, we will listen to Him and to the Holy Spirit.
There are many problems in churches today. Some people choose to disobey God. But we should still obey God. Maybe our friends don’t pray, but we should still pray.
If we pay attention to God’s words every day, it will be easier to obey Him. Then we will receive the promise of eternal life with Him. Praise God!
