I was at the interpreters’ workshop all day. Through that time, I believed that God was going to help me. Why? Because I had faith in God. I also had hope that I would find my keys.
Hope was the third important word that the speaker shared with us. Hope means that we wait patiently for God. We expect Him to do what He says He is going to do.
We do not know for sure who wrote our Bible Reading today. In verses 5 and 11, the writer said, “Why should I be so sad? Why should I be so upset? I should wait for God’s help. I will get the chance to praise him yet. He will save me!” Here the writer had hope that God would help him.
It is good when we can learn to put our hope in God. Then we will be patient and we won’t worry. Why? Because we know that God will love us and provide for us.
