Jesus’ Love

In Bible times, some people had a terrible skin disease called leprosy. According to the law, lepers were required to stay away from other people. When they did meet people, the lepers were supposed to shout “unclean, unclean.”
The leper in our Bible verses broke the rules. He came into a crowd of people and walked up to Jesus. The leper bowed down before Jesus and said, “Lord, you have the power to heal me if you want” (verse 2b).
Did Jesus scold the leper or tell him to go away? No! Jesus felt sorry for the man. He touched the man and healed him.
There are many people in the world who are rejected and alone. They need someone to reach out to them and tell them about Jesus. Find someone today that you can touch with Jesus’ love.
