King of Kings

Yesterday we talked about the great wedding that will happen in heaven someday. In Revelation John also describes the victory of Jesus and His church.
Verse 11a of our Bible Reading says, “Then I saw heaven open. There before me was a white horse. The rider on the horse is called Faithful and True.” This rider leads the armies of heaven into battle where they defeat and rule over the nations of the earth.
The rider called Faithful and True is Jesus. Verse 16 tells us that on “his robe and his leg was written this name: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Jesus is the supreme ruler of the earth, the universe and the heavens! No one is greater than Jesus. He is the greatest king over all other kings.
If you are obeying the King of Kings, then you are following the One who will finally be victorious. The victory will be His…and yours!
