Knowing God

Helen Keller could not see or hear. But she knew that life was more than just silence and darkness. Her teacher, Anne Sullivan, once said that Helen wanted to know everything. Helen learned about the world through her senses of touch, smell and taste. But she also had a need to know about the world that God created. I believe that feeling came from God.
God has given each of us a way we can know Him. Our Bible Reading today tells us that we can look at the world around us and see God’s creation. We can understand God’s power by looking at what He has made.
I believe God also puts inside us a need to know Him. Jesus said in John 6:44a, “The Father is the One who brings people to me.” God leads us to know Him through Jesus.
We should be like Helen Keller. We should want to know about God and His creation.
