Letter to Ephesus (4)

Paul gave the Ephesian Christians advice on how to get along with each other. One thing Paul talked about was anger.
In verses 26 and 27 Paul said, “‘When you are angry, don’t let that anger make you sin,’ and don’t stay angry all day. Don’t give the devil a way to defeat you.” Paul wanted these Christians to settle their problems quickly and peacefully. He told them that if they stayed angry, that gave the devil a chance to tempt them to sin.
Then Paul reminded the Ephesian Christians to do things that will encourage others. If we follow that advice, we will not hurt other people or say bad things that we will regret later. Instead, we will quickly forgive people and not give the devil time to encourage us to sin.
If you become angry with someone today, follow Paul’s advice. Be loving, kind and forgiving.
