Letter to Ephesus (6)

I am blind. To me, the world looks very dark. But I have not always been blind. Years ago, I had good vision. As my eyesight became worse, things started to look more blurry and dark.
As a blind person, I need to be very careful that I do not stumble and fall. That’s why I use a white cane or my guide dog. People who have lives filled with sin live in a different kind of darkness. They live in spiritual darkness. In our Bible verses today, Paul told the Ephesian Christians that before they became Christians they lived in this kind of darkness.
But then Paul told these people that now they were living in God’s light. They had become Christians and were full of “every kind of goodness, right living, and truth” (verse 9). Paul encouraged them to continue following God and not return to spiritual darkness.
“So be careful how you live. Live wisely, not like fools” (verse 15).Choose today to live in God’s light.
