Mark (2)

Yesterday we learned about the paralyzed man. Today we will talk about the Jewish teachers who were watching Jesus.
These men were upset when they saw that Jesus had forgiven the paralyzed man’s sins. Verse 8 says, “Jesus knew that these teachers of the law were thinking those things about him. So Jesus said to them, ‘Why do you have these questions in your minds?’”
These Jewish teachers did not understand God’s plan. Sometimes I am like these men. I have questions, too. “Why are there so many poor people in the world?” “Why does God allow Christians to be persecuted?” I have these questions because I do not understand God’s plan for the world.
When I have questions like these, I read my Bible. Learning about God helps me understand more about His plan. When you have doubts or questions, don’t lose your faith. Instead, strengthen your faith by reading God’s Word.
