Mark 3 (7)

Verse 27 of our Bible Reading says, “If a person wants to enter a strong man’s house and steal his things, first the person must tie the strong man. Then the person can steal the things from the strong man’s house.” What was Jesus talking about here?
Some of the Jewish teachers of the Law said that Jesus was controlled by the devil. But Jesus was able to cast demons out of people. That showed that Jesus had more power than the devil.
We, too, have power to fight against the devil. How do we get that power? Do we have power because we wear a cross around our neck or because we carry a Bible with us? No! Ephesians 6:11-17 tells us that we should wear God’s armor to protect us against the devil.
You may need to fight against the devil today. Do the things God wants you to do. And ask God to help you stand strong for Him.
