Mark (5)

Jesus ate a meal at Levi’s house with tax collectors. These men were Jews who worked for the Roman government. And often they cheated the Jews by collecting extra money that they kept for themselves. Some people wondered how Jesus could eat with these terrible people.
I meet many people every day of my life. Some of these people are Christians, and others are not Christians. When I am with people who do not love God, I need to do what Jesus did with the tax collectors. I need to share God’s love with them.
If I avoid non-Christians or criticize them, they may never know about God and Jesus. At one time, I was not a Christian. God worked through other Christians. These people loved me and led me to Jesus.
What people will you meet today? Ask God to give you opportunities to share His love with these people.
