Mary (4)

The New Testament does not tell us much more about Mary. We know that she was with Jesus when He was crucified on the cross (John 19:25-27). Jesus asked one of His followers, John, to take care of Mary.
Our Bible Reading today tells us something very important about Mary. Verse 14 says, “The apostles were all together. They were constantly praying with the same purpose. Some women, Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers were there with the apostles.” This verse shows us that Mary and Jesus’ brothers believed that Jesus was truly God’s Son. They waited in Jerusalem with the apostles for the day that God would start His church.
Believing that Jesus is God’s Son was the greatest thing that Mary did. She was willing to accept Jesus as her Savior and follow Him.
What about you? Are you like Mary? Do you believe that Jesus is truly God’s Son? Do you want Jesus to be Your Lord and Savior? Follow and obey Him today.
