Nature (6)

My dad loved mountains. His favorite thing to do on the weekends was to take my brother, my friends and me mountain climbing. Our favorite mountain to climb was the tallest one in San Diego county.
On top of the mountain was a ranger station tower. I can remember climbing the tower steps. The ranger let us look through his telescope that he used to look for forest fires. When I was there, I always felt like I was “on top of the world.”
In our Bible Reading today, Paul talked about love. He said in verse 2, “I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But…if I don’t have love, then I am nothing.” It would take a lot of faith to move a big mountain. But Paul said that kind of faith is not very important without love.
