Never Give Up

Several years ago I played football at the Illinois School for the Deaf. I was a tailback. My job was to carry the football forward, yard by yard. My goal was to score a touchdown. But the other team did not want me to get a touchdown. They always tried to stop me from reaching the goal line.
My goal as a Christian is to tell my family, my friends and even strangers about Jesus. But the devil does not want me to do this. He wants me to be afraid to talk about Jesus. The devil is like the football players who did not want me to score a touchdown. The devil will try to keep me from reaching the goal of telling people about Jesus.
We should not allow the devil to make us afraid. We should continue to be strong for Jesus. Verse 9 of our Bible Reading reminds us that we should never give up. “We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up!”
I hope that you will never give up. Stand strong for Jesus!
