Our Bible Reading tells us about a man named Methuselah. He was the son of Enoch and the grandfather of Noah. Methuselah lived 969 years. He is the oldest person listed in the Bible.

We can learn from the book of Genesis that Enoch and Noah followed God. But the Bible doesn’t tell us much about Methuselah. Probably Methuselah followed God, too.
Jesus lived 33 years on earth. The New Testament tells us only a few things about Jesus before the age of 30. Most of the information in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is about the last three years of Jesus’ life. But John 21:25 says, “There are many other things that Jesus did. If every one of these things were written down, I think the whole world would not be big enough for all the books that would be written.”
It doesn’t matter how many years we live. What is important is how we live. I hope that you are walking with God today.
