Saul Changes (1)

In our Bible Reading today, we learn about how Saul (later called Paul) changed. Saul was a Jewish religious leader. He hated Christians. Why? Because He thought that Christians were teaching lies. So Saul put many Christians in jail. He even had some Christians killed.
One day Saul was traveling to the city of Damascus. He wanted to find Christians and stop them from teaching. While Saul was on the road, a bright light shone around him. Saul fell to the ground. The light made him blind. Verse 4b tells us that Saul heard someone say, “Saul, Saul! Why are you doing these bad things to me?” Jesus answered (verse 5b), “I am Jesus. I am the One you are trying to hurt.”
Jesus told Saul to go to Damascus. There a man named Ananias met Saul. Ananias helped Saul see again, and he told Saul about Jesus. Saul believed that the things Ananias said were true. Then Ananias baptized Saul.
There are many people today who hate Christians. We should be like Ananias. We should help them know more about Jesus.
