Sea of Galilee (4)

Our Bible Reading today tells us about another time that Jesus’ followers were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. It was late at night, and the wind was blowing. Verse 25 says, “Between three and six o’clock in the morning, Jesus’ followers were still in the boat. Jesus came to them. He was walking on the water.” Wow!
Peter was in the boat. He wanted to walk to Jesus on the water. But when Peter noticed the wind and waves, he started to sink. Jesus caught Peter with His hand. Jesus and Peter got into the boat, and the wind stopped blowing.
Verse 33 says, “Then the followers in the boat worshiped Jesus and said, ‘You really are the Son of God.’” Jesus’ followers saw what He did, and they believed that He was God’s Son.
We can read in the Bible about the wonderful things Jesus did while He was on earth. These things help us know for sure that He is God’s Son. I hope you know that Jesus is truly the Son of God.
