Strongest

God sent an angel to Samson’s mother. The angel said (Judges 13:5b), “He will be a Nazirite. So you must never cut his hair. He will be God’s special person from before he is born.”
Samson became a man with great strength. He loved a Philistine woman named Delilah. The Philistines promised to pay Delilah if she could find out why Samson was so strong. Samson told Delilah (verse 17b), “If someone shaved my head, then I would lose my strength.” Delilah cut Samson’s hair, and he lost his strength.
The Philistines captured Samson. Then they had a party to praise their god. The Philistines brought Samson to the party to entertain the people. He stood between two columns of the temple. Samson prayed that God would give him back his strength. God answered Samson’s prayer. Samson pushed on the columns, and the temple fell and killed the people in the temple.
Samson had great strength, but he was not willing to obey God. It is not important to be physically strong. But it is very important that we obey God.
