Tell the Good News

In our Bible Reading today, Paul met with the elders from the church in Ephesus. It was an emotional meeting. Why? Because Paul was going to Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit had told Paul that there would be trouble for him in Jerusalem (verse 23).
Paul did not know what would happen to him in Jerusalem. But he did know one thing. Paul said in verse 24b, “I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do — to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.”
Each of us has a daily routine of things we do and places we go. We know that as we go through our day, we may face troubles. But we should remember that the most important thing we can do all day is to share the Good News about Jesus with others.
Choose today to love and serve other people. Tell them about Jesus and the salvation He freely gives to them.
