The Right Path

One winter day I was driving home from work. It had snowed all day and the wind was blowing hard. The roads were covered with several inches of ice and drifting snow. Part of the time I could not see the lines on the side or center of the road. I decided to drive in the same tracks as the car in front of me. Suddenly I realized that the car in front of me might drive off the road. If I followed those tracks, I would go off the road, too. I would not be on the right path.
We need to be on the right path in life, too. We need to follow the road that leads to eternal life with God. Our Bible Reading reminds us that the road that leads to hell is a very easy road. But the road that leads to true life is difficult. We can find the road that leads to true life by reading and obeying the Bible.
What about your life? Are you on the right path? Are you obeying God’s Word? Or are you following what other people tell you to do? Remember to always follow Jesus’ example. Then you will be on the right path.
