Think Good Things

One day I was talking with a group of friends. We talked about a former neighbor. I said that I remembered that this woman always complained about everything. Then all of my friends laughed, and we talked about that woman’s complaining.
That same night my devotional reading was based on our Bible verses today. After reading these verses, I decided that I was guilty of judging my former neighbor. I felt that God was showing me what I had done wrong. I asked God to forgive me. I also decided that I would start saying good things about that woman.
When I say bad things about other people, I am judging them. I do not want God to judge me that way. “Do not judge other people, and God will not judge you. If you judge other people, you will be judged in the same way you judge them” (verses 1-2a).
Be sure that you say/sign good things about other people today.
