Three in One (2)

Yesterday we talked about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit being united as one. It is very important to know this. Why? Because it helps us understand more about God.
Our Bible Reading today tells us about a time when Jesus was at the temple in Jerusalem. Some Jewish leaders wanted to know if Jesus was really God?s Son. In verse 30, Jesus said, ?The Father and I are one.? Jesus told these men that He and God are united as one. The Jewish leaders did not believe Jesus. They tried to kill Jesus, but He escaped.
Later, Jesus died on the cross and arose. He met with His disciples. One disciple, Thomas, did not believe that Jesus was really alive. When Thomas saw Jesus, he believed that Jesus had risen from the dead. In John 20:28, Thomas said to Jesus, ?My Lord and my God!? Thomas believed that God and Jesus are one.
It is very important for us to know that Jesus is God?s Son. Thank God for Jesus today.
