Time for God

I plugged in my coffee pot, put bread in the toaster and started to open a can of fruit with my electric can opener. Suddenly, the power went off. I discovered that there were too many things plugged into the same circuit. I reset the circuit breaker and plugged the appliances into different outlets. Then everything worked fine.
In our Bible Reading, we learn that the Israelites wanted Moses to make decisions for them. Moses became tired and worn out. Moses? father-in-law, Jethro, reminded him that he should spend more time teaching the people. Jethro suggested that Moses choose other men to make these decisions. So Moses chose some men to be judges over the people.
The circuit in my kitchen was overloaded. Moses was overloaded. Sometimes I am overloaded, too. When I have too many things to do, I become exhausted. I need to remember that the most important thing I can do is spend time with God.
Be sure that you spend some time with God today. Seek Him through prayer and Bible reading.
