Traveling with Paul (1)

In the last issue of Daily Devotions for the Deaf, we talked about the start of God’s church and how it grew. In this devotion book we will focus on the spread of Christianity throughout the world. This growth happened because Paul and other Christians shared the Good News about Jesus. Paul also wrote letters to churches to encourage them and help them be strong Christians.
When Paul went on a missionary journey, he took other Christians with him. For the next seven days, we will look at some of the people who traveled with Paul to help him spread the Gospel.
When Paul told people about Jesus, he was obeying the command that Jesus gave His followers in our Bible Reading today. “So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have told you to do” (Matthew 28:19-20a).
You can be a missionary like Paul, too. Tell someone about Jesus today!
