Walking (2)

Our Bible Reading today is a song of thanks. Moses sang this song to God after he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Why was Moses thankful? Because God did many amazing things so the Israelites could be free.
One of the amazing things that God did was separate the waters of the Red Sea so the Israelites could walk on dry land. Verse 19 says, “Yes, it really happened! Pharaoh’s horses and riders and chariots went into the sea. And the Lord brought all the water of the sea down on top of them. But the people of Israel walked through the sea on dry land.”
God saved the Israelites by separating the Red Sea. When all the Israelites were safely on the other side, God closed the waters. Pharaoh (the king of Egypt) and his army were drowned in the sea.
God took care of His people, the Israelites. When the Israelites obeyed God, He always provided good things for them. God takes care of us today, too. He has promised to bless people who follow and obey His Son, Jesus.
I hope you will follow and obey Jesus today.
