Jesus was often surrounded by crowds of people. Some people wanted to see Jesus because they were curious. Others wanted to learn from Him. And some people wanted Jesus to heal them.
Our Bible Reading today tells us how Jesus responded to these people. Verse 36 says, “Jesus saw the many people and felt sorry for them because they were worried and helpless — like sheep without a shepherd to lead them.”
What did Jesus do? He loved the people. Jesus felt sorry for them and helped them. Jesus healed some people, but He encouraged and taught all people. Jesus wanted everyone to know about God’s love.
Serve other people today. Encourage them. And most of all, tell them about God’s wonderful gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus. Will you be like Jesus?
