You are Unique

When I was young, I didn’t like the way I looked. I thought my nose was too big and I was too skinny and ugly. Why did I feel this way? Because I compared myself to other people.
As I grew older, I realized that it didn’t really matter how I looked. I understood that God made me look just like He wanted me to look. And this helped me accept myself and God’s love for me.
Our Bible Reading reminds us that each person is unique and special. Verses 15 and 16 tell us that God knew us even before we were born. “You know all about me. You watched my bones grow while my body took shape, hidden in my mother’s body. You watched my body parts grow. You listed them all in your book. You watched me every day. Not one of them is missing.”
I don’t know how you feel about yourself. But you should feel good. You are unique, and God made you just the way you are. Let God encourage you today as you serve Him.
