While we continue on our focus on completing translation of the entire Bible into American Sign Language (ASL) by the year 2020, we are launching a couple new sign language Bible translation projects this year – one in the eastern Europe country of Moldova and the Philippines in the Asia Pacific.
As we welcome back our returning students to the Deaf Missions Training Center, we also have welcomed new students to this unique two-year intensive training program. All of our students are being trained and equipped for future sign language Bible translation and international work among Deaf people.
And, as we are in the post-production phase of the Book of Job in ASL feature film scheduled for release in May, we are now in the pre-production stages of developing and producing another new feature film – one on the life of Jesus in sign language!
